I am a multidisciplinary design lead and creative director originally from Cairo, Egypt, now based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, holding a Bachelor's Degree, Commercial and Advertising Art, with over 20 years of experience in the industry. I am a passionate and dedicated creative who leads by example with a hands-on approach. To me, great design is earned—it is the outcome of an idea or concept that effectively conveys a powerful message. I believe in working closely with my team, teaching and inspiring through every challenge, no matter the constraints. My commitment lies in fostering creativity and producing work that stands out. I am a critical thinker and problem solver, embracing a holistic approach to each project to ensure that every element is produced to the highest standard and delivers impactful results.
My journey as a creative professional began over 20 years ago in Cairo, where I first discovered my passion for design and storytelling. As a Graphic Designer at Theme, I immersed myself in developing project profiles and branding for significant clients in the construction and technology industries. This early exposure taught me the importance of creating visual narratives that resonate and capture attention.
With each step in my career, I ventured deeper into the art of visual communication. At Altitude Communications, I created compelling visuals for major food and beverage brands, enhancing their market presence with engaging point-of-sale materials. This period honed my skills in delivering impactful designs that connected with audiences and sparked interaction.
When I joined INTERMARK NETWORK in Heliopolis, I faced a new challenge: the pharmaceutical industry. Over two years, I crafted over 60 key visuals for renowned clients such as Pfizer and Nestlé, while contributing to strategic brainstorming sessions that strengthened our campaign strategies. These experiences sharpened my ability to merge creativity with precision, ensuring every visual carried a powerful message.
My move to HIT Creative Communication marked a significant turning point. Here, I developed impactful campaigns for the Food Bank, such as "Hunger Train" and "Suk Al Udhia," which boosted donations by up to 13%. I led the comprehensive brand revamp for Halwani Bros, rolling out a launch campaign across TV, social media, and outdoor platforms. It was a time that underscored my capacity for holistic project vision and the power of integrated campaigns.
In Riyadh, my role at Greenish Communication Group allowed me to elevate Rotana’s various channels through campaigns that significantly increased viewership and client satisfaction. I led a team of designers and writers, sharing my insights into television and film content to improve output and achieve a 20% increase in project success. This was when I truly embraced mentorship, finding joy in guiding others to achieve their potential.
As an Art Director at DDB, I brought life to campaigns such as the "Shebak Labak" winter initiative for Al Tayyar Travel, adapting it seamlessly across various media. I developed more than 300 social media posts for Al Tawuniya Insurance, boosting traffic and engagement by 25%. My work continued to be defined by bold creative decisions and a commitment to excellence.
FULLSTOP CREATIVES provided me the opportunity to revamp Mobily Telecom's brand identity, creating visually engaging campaigns for Mobily Business, Consumer, and Brand divisions. Crafting the identity for Mobily Esports was a highlight, showcasing my ability to fuse modern design with cultural nuance.
At XELEMENT, I spearheaded a Ramadan campaign for Al Nahdi pharmacies that drove a 14% increase in sales, and I led a brand revamp for the Saudi Esports Federation, contributing to events like Gamers Seasons. These experiences deepened my expertise in aligning design with strategic goals, always seeking to produce culturally resonant work.
My time at VMLY&R saw me managing campaigns for iconic automotive brands like Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac under Al Jomaih sponsorship. By leveraging strategic insights and creative direction, I guided projects that raised sales by 15% and strengthened our team’s capacity to meet ambitious goals.
Now, as a Creative Director at Almond Creative, I am proud to have led the monumental "Basmat Baladi" campaign for the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs. This multifaceted project reached over 500,000 visits in its first month, increased social media engagement by 40%, and inspired communities through events and workshops.
